Meet our Volunteers and Staff

Volunteering is a force for change.

The Association of Tamil Parishioners values volunteering as a force for change, and accepts that their involvement in its activities is fundamental to the fulfilment of its mission. In order to provide quality services, we rely heavily on the good will of volunteers.

The ongoing support which our current volunteers provide has proved an invaluable resource to the growth of this organisation. We are truly grateful for the contribution of their time and talents. We are pleased to have been able to provide them with training opportunities to develop new skills.

Volunteers have the opportunity to be trained as:

  • Mentors
  • Befrienders
  • Outreach Workers
  • Office Assistants
  • IT support workers

We will always do our best to make our volunteers feel welcome and at ease. As a volunteer, you will have an induction; this covers who we are, what we do and what we expect from you and what you can expect from us. You will be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses involved in carrying out the role.

We are always on the look out for potential new volunteers, who can either help us in the office or with various planned activities. If that could be you, please contact us for further information.
